Bears Let a Tackle Go

Former Chicago Bears tackle Ian Scott signed a one year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles yesterday.  The Eagles also signed former Indianapolis tackle Colt Montae Reagor in efforts to add depth to the position.  They will be joining a defensive line made up of Broderick Bunkley, Mike Patterson, LaJuan Ramsey, and Sam Rayburn.

“I’m no stranger to competition,” Scott said, “I’m looking forward to coming in and trying to earn some playing time on a good football team.  You want to get a good opportunity for yourself, but everybody who plays this game wants to be successful as a team and the ultimate goal is winning the Super bowl.”  In Super Bowl XLI Scott was a starter for the Bears and his record for last year was 41 tackles for 18 games.
