Bears Offer Interesting Father’s Day Present

According the the Chicago Sun Times, the Chicago Bears are offering Dads across Chicago the chance to kick a field goal on Father’s Day, at 50 dollars a pop (No pun intended).  The fiddy bucks also covers a brunch buffet at the stadium.  The invitation is open to only 800 people, presumably on a first come, first serve basis.

I guess if your dad was a massive Bears fan, this would pretty cool.  But really?  A chance to be the kicker?  The most maligned and ridiculed position in all of football, if not all of professional sport?  Could we at least give dad a chance to be the quarterback? or at the very least, a wide receiver.  I mean, after all, it is Father’s Day.  Who actually harbors dreams of being the kicker?
