According to ESPN.com, Brian Urlacher’s BabyMama drama continued today, with a judge ordering both Urlacher and the mother of his toddler to take parenting classes. All of this stems from a legal battle Urlacher is having with the mother of his son, Kennedy, over where and when Urlacher will pick his son up for visits. Urlacher and the mother, Tyna Robertson, can apparently not figure this one out on their own.
I love this ruling. Basically the judge is chastising both these people, who are most certainly adults, for behaving like children when there is already a child involved. These parenting classes in question are basically designed to help people who are inherently selfish, immature, and not ready for kids to understand that now that they are parents, they’ve got to take more into account in their decision-making processes than just “how does this affect me?”. Here’s hoping both the mother and father get something out of the time they spend in said class.
