Bears Trying a Few New Things in 07

ESPN.com’s John Clayton has posted his NFC Stories to Watch for heading into training camp. He outlines a solid story line or two for each team in the National Football Conference from top to bottom, division by division, until he has made sure that every one of us NFL junkies has plenty to chew on heading into the final weeks of practice before the preseason games finally start.  According to Clayton, the big story for the Chicago Bears is how much change they’ve undergone this offseason, and what new things you should watch for.

I’ve been wondering for weeks now how it is that the defending NFC Champions aren’t getting any love from the media to repeat, and perhaps Clayton has finally given me my answer.  The Bears have undergone a lot of shuffling and offseason moves, and perhaps the pundits just aren’t picking them because they think these moves have made them worse and not better.  I, for one, am holding out judgment until I see this newer incarnation of the Bears out on the field.
