According to a report in the Daily Herald, the Chicago Bears need to take it a little easier in practice. It appears that Bears cornerback Charles Tillman decided to welcome Devin Hester to the offense by giving him a few full force hits that have Hester in no small amount of pain. Though Hester says he’s fine with the physicality, Tillman might want to tone it down just a bit, to avoid injuring the Bears new not-so-secret weapon on offense. However, the odds of Tillman, or any player on the Bears for that matter, toning things down are slim to none.
I’ve been saying it for awhile now, but it’s still true today. People are sleeping on the Bears. The Chicago Bears are a tough team with a lot of talent. They’re better than the Panthers, younger than the Cowboys, and they should beat the living daylights out of the New Orleans Saints in a playoff game. What’s worse, with no one picking them, they can play outside the spotlight with a chip on their shoulder all year long. The rest of the league had better watch out for the Chicago Bears.
