Former Bear Activated by Cowboys

I know that he hasn’t been member of the Chicago Bears organization for nearly six months, but after the Bears’ bye week it’s really slow on the Bears news front, and honestly, I can’t really type up any more stories about how the Bears are an organization in decline.  I’m starting to get depressed.  Unfortunately, this isn’t a particularly rosy story for Bears fans, but we’re going to pretend.  So, former Bear Tank Johnson has been activated by the Dallas Cowboys and is expected to play this Sunday in their big NFC East battle with the New York football Giants.

I could point out that the Bears could have used Tank Johnson this year, but that’s just salt in an old wound.  The fact is, he probably wouldn’t have made much difference at this point.  The Bears are the NFC’s version of the Baltimore Ravens at this point, with absolutely no offense to support their talented defense.  The Bears d is famously overworked at this point in the season, and they’re breaking down.  This actually worked out great for Tank, who has kept his name totally free of the headlines this season and should hopefully find a new beginning in Dallas.  All the best to him.
