Favre Talk Continues

Just when Bears’ fans thought they had heard the last of Brett Favre, the retired quarterback becomes the center of the biggest debate in the NFC North.  On top of that, there is speculation that he could be coming to Chicago.  If you are a true-blue Favre opponent, fear not.  Word on the street is that the Bears are not considering the veteran as a possible addition to the team, especially after coach Lovie Smith dismissed any questions about Favre by saying the Bears are set in the quarterback position.  If you are one of the fans who want Favre in a Bears’ uniform, don’t hold your breath.

On the other hand, Smith is not known for being forthcoming about his roster musings.  Think back only a few short weeks to Kevin Jones.  After the Bears had made it clear that they were fine with the running back combo of Matt Forte and Adrian Peterson, they signed Jones.  Could we see a similar change of heart with Favre?  With the Packers determined to make sure Favre is not a member of one of their NFC North rivals, the odds don’t look good that he will be a Bear.  No matter what happens with Favre, you will want to see the team this season by getting Chicago Bears tickets from StubHub.com.
