Bears Unable to Finish Against Panthers.

After shining in week one, the Chicago Bears fell to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday 20-17 after leading 17-3 earlier in the game.  The win equals two big wins in a row for the Panthers, who came from behind to beat the San Diego Chargers in the final seconds last week. Wide receiver Rashied Davis summed up the game saying, “We left a lot of plays on the field.  you do that, it gives the other team momentum, and that is pretty much what happened. I still think we were the better team, but they won and they played well and they beat us. We’ll see them in the playoffs.”

If the game ended at three quarters, everyone would be praising the Bears’ game and how well they executed.  Unfortunately, there are four quarters in a game and the Bears fell apart in the fourth quarter.  Summing up their lack of finish was the Bears’ final drive that stalled at midfield and couldn’t be turned into a field goal attempt. The Bears will have to pull themselves together as they look to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next Sunday.  The Bucs are also 1-1.  Find your Chicago Bears tickets by visiting StubHub.com.
