If losing a big game to the Minnesota Vikings wasn’t bad enough, the Chicago Bears also lost nose tackle Dusty Dvoracek in the match. Dvoracek ruptured his right biceps, which effectively ended his season. The third-year pro has had a season-ending injury every season he has been in the NFL, making his latest even tougher to swallow. Teammate and defensive tackle Tommie Harris commented, saying, “It’s disheartening knowing the adversity he’s been through in the past. To keep continuing to go through this each year is very disheartening, especially having the season that he was having.”
Dvoracek didn’t even get to contribute much in the game as the injury happened early in the game and sent the nose tackle straight to the locker room. During his time in the NFL, Dvoracek has injured his foot, his anterior cruciate ligament, his hand and his calf. With the number of injuries Dvoracek has suffered in his short career, the Bears may be considering whether or not to keep him next season. With Dvoracek out, fans will get to see how both Marcus Harrison and Anthony Adams perform. Be there in person by getting your Chicago Bears tickets from StubHub.com.
