Schedule for 2009 Season Released

The NFL schedule was released yesterday, and the Chicago Bears are already excited about the upcoming season. The Bears already knew they would be kicking off the regular season visiting the Green Bay Packers. In the preseason, the Bears will be facing off against the Buffalo Bills, New York Giants, Denver Broncos and Cleveland Browns. The game against the Broncos will be especially interesting as the Bears now have former Bronco Jay Cutler as their quarterback.

Coach Lovie Smith reacted to the schedule, saying, “We’re excited about this year’s schedule. It’s always nice to have a number of nationally-televised games, and with five on the schedule, our fans around the country will have plenty of opportunities to watch us in prime time… We look forward to the challenge of playing four of our first six games on the road. But I like that we only have one two-game road stretch and the fact we play three home games in December where I know our fans will give  us an advantage.”

The Bears will have the featured Sunday Night Football games on October 18 and November 22 as well as a Thursday night NFL Network game on November 12 and Monday Night Football on December 28. Be there by reserving your Chicago Bears tickets from StubHub.com.
