Tillman Excited About Possible Favre Return

Brett Favre may have been a thorn in the Bears’ side during his earlier years with the Green Bay Packers, but for the last several seasons since Lovie Smith has joined the team, the Bears have gotten the best of him. He spent last season with the New York Jets, but now there is a chance he will be returning to the NFC North. This time, however, he would be with the Minnesota Vikings instead of the Green Bay Packers.

One Bear, cornerback Charles Tillman, is hoping that Favre comes back this season. Tillman said, “I hope he does go to Minnesota. I would like to compete against him once again. You play to go against the best. If he’s the best quarterback (on the Vikings), I want to play against him. I like him. He’s a good competitor. He’s a hell of a quarterback, a future-Hall-of-Fame quarterback. Whether he comes back, that’s a big thing in Minnesota, not really Chicago. If he comes back, I think it will be a thrill. If not, then I think their other three quarterbacks will be happy.”

If news reports are correct, Tillman may get what he wants. See the Bears play this season with Chicago Bears tickets from StubHub.
