Driver Adds Fuel to Fire

The start of the preseason is still weeks away, but that hasn’t stopped the Green Bay Packers from some early trash talking, courtesy of their wide receiver Donald Driver. Driver wasn’t shy about revealing his feelings about the Bears team. He may have had nice things to say about other parts of the team, but the wide receivers didn’t receive the same accolades from Driver.

Driver said, “I think Chicago did a great job, and Lovie Smith went out there and got Jay Cutler to lead this team, but one thing they don’t have is they don’t have the receiver group. They have the running back, they have the offensive line and they have a great defense. But you’re going to have to need receivers to make plays down the field, and they don’t have that right now.”

There are a few Bears wide receivers who may disagree with him. These comments are only going to fuel the Bears wide receivers this season when they face the Packers. The two teams will go up against one another on the first regular season game on September 13 in Green Bay and again on December 13 in Chicago. Both games are sure to be heated, especially with Driver already talking trash. Be there by getting Chicago Bears tickets from StubHub.
