Denver Broncos coach Josh McDaniels may have tried to turn attention away from the interesting dynamics between the Broncos and the Chicago Bears, but quarterback Jay Cutler is not. Cutler is the one who is at the center of the situation, as he was traded to Chicago for Kyle Orton and nearly a handful of draft picks. Cutler doesn’t think he will receive a warm reception in Denver and said Broncos fans would react, “Probably poorly. That would be my first guess.”
He also had some nice things to say about his former team’s offense, even as Orton has struggled in the preseason. Cutler said, “It’s tough, I feel bad for Kyle. I think he’s going to pull through in the long run. Offensively, they’ve got a lot of good players. They’ve got a great offensive line, they’ve got good receivers, and Josh McDaniels, he’s an offensive mind. He puts guys in spots to make plays, so I think they’re going to be fine.”
Orton also commented on the upcoming game, and said that he was looking forward to seeing some of his old teammates. It is sure to be an exciting game, and you can see the Bears this season with Chicago Bears tickets from StubHub.
